What is a DSA inspector?

DSA inspectors are construction building inspectors certified by the Division of the State Architect (DSA) and then approved to work on specific projects. DSA certifies several types of school construction inspectors. All California school projects under the jurisdiction of DSA must have a Certified Project Inspector on site.

The Division of the State Architect provides design and construction oversight for K–12 schools, community colleges, and various other state-owned and leased facilities in California. The division also develops accessibility, structural safety, and historical building codes and standards utilized in various public and private buildings throughout the state of California.

With my history in construction as a superintendent, company owner, civil engineer and inspector, I strive to work with both the contractors and owner to bring the project to successful completion. I have been on all sides of a construction project, so I work to insure all sides are successful.
